Information

At an altitude of 750m, Ffynnon Caseg, the source of the Caseg river, nestles high up in Cwm Caseg, bounded on three sides by the mountains Yr Elen, Canedd Llewelyn and Foel Grach.

Until 1889 water from here was carried by a leat five miles long to supply power to Bryn Hafod-y-wern Slate Quarry.
