Information |
The former firing range, which was in use during the Second World War, is located in Cwm Graiglwyd above the town of Penmaenmawr. Photographs of the rifle butts in better condition (from 2005 or earlier)

Location of the near target (upper left). The stone-built rifle butts in front of the target metalwork has since been demolished.























Nice to see the place in more bucolic use. I like the rusty galvo…I wonder if those are bullet holes…!

Interesting find Graham. WWII relics must litter the entire European countryside. Finding them, and labeling them really helps to keep their historic significance alive. Well done!
