Llyn Elsi is a reservoir in the Gwydyr Forest about a mile to the south of the town of Betws-y-coed, to which it supplies water. The lake was dammed for this purpose in 1914.

Both slates and slabs were produced at the site and the large 1860s slab mill was water powered: initially by waterwheels, and later by turbines fed with water from Llyn Elsi. [...]

Que sitio más bonito!! la imagen del lago me encanta, se respira paz y los colores de las hojas de los árboles en la tercera son espectaculares, abrazos

Elsi is A hidden gem, only ever been the once but the views were outstanding
