Bethesda North is one of 22 relays in the Llanddona transmitter group. Sited next to Pen-y-gaer Hillfort, the Bethesda North transmitter provides coverage for areas with no reception from the main Bethesda relay at St Annes. The relay is operated by Arqiva, the transmission provider for all terrestrial TV in the UK.

An interesting set Graham. I don’t live that far away from the massive Winter Hill transmitter here in Lancashire, and although it’s a good few years since I last went up there, I remember it to be a fascinating, if slightly weird place.
