| Further Information | Developed by E.ON, Rhyd-y-Groes was the first wind farm in Wales. It started generating electricity in 1992 and comprises 24 turbines. Each turbine stands 30m to the hub and has a 31m rotor diameter. The total power rating is 7.2 MW (equivalent to 4026 homes). | ||
