  1. Thanks for posting these pictures for me to find, this was my wife’s great uncles plane crash. F/O JM Polomark from Canada.

    • This was our grandfather John Polomark. My mother Judy Polomark from Mundare and Edmonton was his surviving daughter.

      • My son just forwarded the link so that I could see these amazing photos, still available after all these years. I was 5 mos. old when my father John Polomark was killed. His wife Barbara is still alive. She will be 96 in Sept

        • I’m glad that you have been able to see these photographs of the site. It is amazing that there still remains parts of the wreckage to see. The remoteness of many of these sites helps, but even so, it is sad to note that in many cases much of it has been removed over the years. Hearing from people with direct connections to the events makes seeing these sites all the more poignant. Best regards and thanks for stopping by and commenting.
