  1. Hello Graham. I’ve just come across you wonderful – fascinating blog, to which I’ve spent the last hour trawling through some really amazing posts. I’m curious to what this Arrow Stone would have been used for? Have you got any ideas?

    • Hi Iestyn. Thanks very much for you interest in the blog. As for the purpose of these incised stones, I could not really find out very much about this other than the link above to the ‘Modern Antiquarian’, in which there is a passage stating:

      “The incised lines upon which are believed to have been made by the old people in sharpening thier metal arrow heads”
