Housed in a chrome-plated dome, the Planetarium is part of the At-Bristol interactive science centre. The complex opened in 2000 and is located in Millennium Square, part of the re-development of the Canon’s Marsh area of the city. Canon’s Wharf was once one of the busiest quays in Bristol docks. Regeneration of the area started with the demolition with explosives of the Canon’s Marsh bonded tobacco warehouses at 7 a.m. on Sunday 29th May 1988.

  2. Looks a dreary place, one that badly needs the bit of interest provided by the fractured surfaces of this shiny globe! Great shots!
