Looking across The Migneint to Snowdon, Garnedd Ugain and Crib Goch, with Llyn y Dywarchen and Welsh Slate’s ‘Cwt-y-Bugail’ Quarry (Manod) in the middle distance
I was only last night talking to a friend about a photo trip to Snowdonia – these photos have convinced me it must be done – sooner rather than later. Thanks for providing great detail with your images.

What a fabulous set of photographs! I’ve just spent ages poring over them. They are all equally superb, and I love your Panorama slider gizmo. Of course, I hadn’t thought, but you would be able to see the Berwyns and Llyn Tegid from up there, why not! I tend to be too focussed on my own little patch. Speaking of which, that superb view over the Migneint, I have a pedantic pettifogging little quibble- the quarry is Welsh Slate’s “Cwt-y-Bugail”, or more properly Manod (Bwlch Slaters). Graig Ddu is on the other, Blaenau, side of the Manod. Sorry, it’s just that it is only up the road from us and I get very proprietorial… A brilliant set, almost as good as being there!

Thanks very much for the correction, Iain – I have updated the caption. I’d been trying to figure out from the OS map which of the BF quarries that one was!
