Beautiful photos. You must have been up very early to avoid the “traffic” on the path! I have only been up Snowdon once, in February…crampons, ice axes and ropes…had the summit to ourselves, but it was too cold to admire the view for long! The first shots are real National Geographic images while the others bring out the character of the mountain very well. One of it’s characters, anyway!

Yes, the top, perhaps cliched, shot looking out over Llynnau Mymbyr was taken at about 5:30am. I was at Pen-y-pass car park not long afterwards, but even then it must have about 90% full. The summit was fairly busy by 9am and I also had to dodge teams of runners competing in the Snowdonia 7 event on the way back down the Miners’ Track. At least the visibility was exceptional, hehe.
