    • I thought that the trunk of the fallen tree would make a nice stable support to brace the monopod against. Only problem was all the vibration being transmitted up the bough from the branches taking a pounding in the river ❗

  1. Great shots, Graham. That first one has lovely colour …the ultramarine of the water against the Burnt Sienna of the tree. You’ve really captured the energy. I know all about the roaring of the water…we live right next to a river and it has been deafening …thankfully it hasn’t flooded though!

  2. I remember going out in the Highlands after two days of continuous rain and witnessing similar scenes. It’s incredible just how much water ends up in the rivers in the mountains. Lovely photos!
