Information
Edinburgh’s Christmas is a programme of events and activities taking place in a number of sites in the city centre from 20 November 2015 until 4 January 2016. St Andrew’s Square hosts the Scottish Market, an ice rink and a show venue The Spiegeltent. Located in East Princes Street Gardens are various funfair attractions – including a Ferris wheel, helter skelter and ice rink – together with a traditional European Christmas market.

Thanks, fraggle. We spent an hour or so wandering around the market – it really was too wet to enjoy browsing the wares, but I was more interested in taking photographs anyway…

Great shots! No.7 is excellent, with the feeling of blue and the figure…somehow says it all for me. Good to see you got back to the auld country for the new Year 🙂

Thanks, Iain! We were up there for Christmas and had to get back to Wales the day after Boxing Day – so were a bit apprehensive after both the A5 and A55 having been closed with flooding. Luckily it had all drained away by the time we got back down here.
