It would be interesting to see a non-infrared Monochrome version of this, as I’m not sure what infrared has done to this scene primarily because I normally see it used for things like trees rather than bigger landscapes. I notice that there are some quite deep shadows in the hills, that might be a result of it?

As far as I cam remember there already was quite a high contrast between light and shadow there. I think the main effects were darkening the sky and lightening the tones of the forest on the left.
