Thanks so much, Rebecca. We had a lovely socially distanced stroll around the garden. Turned out that was the day before all National Trust properties shut down, which was followed the next day by the announcement of the lockdown measures here.

I’m looking back at all my photos of the gardens that I have experienced, never ever thinking that they would be in lockdown. We live in interesting times. My creative project these days is to look back at poetry from unknown poets in public domain and then recite them enthusiastically to a empty room.

Lovely garden! Strangely I have a blossom tree that is spliced onto the same trunk as your first picture. Not seen another like it.
