Even under normal circumstances, the peaks in the Carneddau are some of the quieter ones in Snowdonia. So it was extra peaceful being up there.

My favorites are those very rounded shapes in Yr Elen. WHat does Carnedd mean?

Carnedd = Cairn. The plural in Welsh is ‘carneddau’, which is the name given to the range containing these mountains.
