  1. Another great set.
    Naturally number three grabbed my attention. It feels like there is more of a story behind this shot. It’s impossible not to wonder what has happened to the building or even what the building was before it fell or sunk into the ground. I like that it’s a shot which provokes an instant response where both the building and the window view offer elements of intrigue…🤔🕵️‍♂️

        • I seem to remember enjoying the book but being disappointed with the film adaptation. I grew up only a few miles away from Roslin and remember it, like other churches, being free to visit (donations accepted). I think they cashed in on the DB-fuelled popularity (and who can blame them, I guess, with restoration and upkeep costs) and now charge tourist prices to visit it as a ‘destination’.
