Lavender Labyrinth II

Date: 16 July 2022

Location: Llanedwen, Anglesey 53.196810, -4.237840

The lavender labyrinth is located at Hooton’s Homegrown Pick Your Own field in Anglesey. It was initially created from recycled strawberry growbags in the summer of 2020 to raise funds for the Wales Air Ambulance charity. The path to the centre of this 4-arm, 11-circuit, Chartres-style labyrinth measures 900 metres. It was later planted out with lavender bushes and re-opened in July 2022.

    • Yes, it was delightful. Especially for my daughter (as featured in the previous post getting up close and personal with the blooms) as lavender is her favourite! Also seemed to be a big hit with the bumble bees (ooops, no spoilers for the next post, honest 🀞)
