Information: The Greystone Footbridge spans the M62 motorway, linking the A5080 road in the south to Greystone Road in the north. The centrally supported cable stay bridge has an overall span of 80m with a 3m-wide deck. The £1.8m bridge, constructed by civil engineers The Eric Wright Group, opened in 2015 and replaced the original structure built in 1973 and known locally as the “sausage bridge”
