  1. I see you captured the usual fool in photo 3. At least he kept to the crown of the road. I haven’t seen it as bad as it was in Port on the 2nd too…water right up to the quay edge. At least you got some nice blue reflections in your shots 🙂

    • While we were there a few vehicles turned back; two or three drove through though, including an SUV that created quite a bow wave. The two cyclists pondering the situation in #5 went for it – if only they had known they could have saved themselves some wet feet by cutting through the school grounds behind the wall on the left.

    • Thanks for your thoughts, Lynn. Luckily this was just a localised incident and we have not been seeing anything in this area like the problems they are suffering elsewhere. We did, however, have hurricane-force winds near the coast on Wednesday, which left a few roads closed with fallen trees (and an overturned truck on a bridge that had been closed to high-sided vehicles 😯 )
