Elgin Cathedral 57.650395, -3.306499
The cathedral dates back to the 1200s and the ruins are in the care of Historic Scotland.
With your keen eye and good sense of perspective, you have given us a wonderful idea of the height of these buildings. A love the juxtaposition of the new and the old. We have an Elgin in the Western Cape in a fertile area well known its grapes (and thus wines) as well as apple and pear orchards.

Thank you so much, Anne. Interesting to hear that you have an Elgin too. Not sure about wine, but our Elgin has several whisky distilleries in the area! 🥃

Thanks, Fraggs! And luckily most of it can be seen from outside its perimeter fence 🙃
